When Muslims Get Moderate.

Islam teaches us not to be on any of the extreme ends; basically to be moderate in whatever we do.
Then again, it doesn't mean we should be a MODERATE muslim.

I've met a handful of these people both on the internet and in reality. I have a friend who prays, fasts and wears the Hijab only during Ramadhan; another who chooses lunch over Jummah and of course another who thinks it's okay to go clubbing as long as you don't drink.

RIGHT.

Firstly, being Muslim means you pray 5 times a day and not just during Ramadhan; it's cool if you don't want to do the sunnah fasts though and about the Hijab issue... hmmm... if you're wearing the Hijab as practice during the month of Ramadhan then it makes sense; other than that. Sheeeeesh, I don't know what to say.

Secondly, if you're really that hungry then grab a snack before you enter the Masjid for Prayers; why sacrifice Jummah for the sake of a plate of rice?

& Thirdly, who the hell clubs without drinking? okay maybe there are a handful but going clubbing is bad enough. think about it; the haram mingling. HELLO?!

Recently, I met a sister online and she asked if I wear the Hijab.
I said "yes, Alhamdulillah"
and asked if she did and she replied the opposite.
What really pissed me the hell off was when she said this;
"I am living in a secular country. It's difficult sister. I will face many criticism if I wear the Hijab. Actually, the Qur'an doesn't tell us to wear the Hijab. Many Muslim women wear it because the Prophet's wives wore it. In fact, what should be the right Hijab is the Hijab that we keep in our hearts. To be modest from inside."

Okay what was that again?
MODEST FROM INSIDE?

Helloooooooooooo? That is just SCREWEDDDDD!

About living in a secular country, I understand the amount of criticism that she would be facing but then again; I always believe that "If you're in Allah's team; you're in the winning team" so why worry about what "people" have to say? Who has the final say here? "People" or Allah?

The Qur'an doesn't tells us to wear the Hijab and we wear it because the Prophet's wives did?
SISTER?! Do you even READ the Qur'an???
I mean seriously, get your facts right!
Surah Al-Ahzab -: 33:59 (59) O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters, and the believing women, that they should cast their outer garments over their persons (when abroad): that is most convenient, that they should be known (as such) and not molested. And Allah is Oft- Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Surah An-Nur-: 24:31 (31) And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husband's fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their women, or the slaves whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex; and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O ye Believers! turn ye all together towards Allah, that ye may attain Bliss.

Modest from inside?
So sister, I can just wear my MINIs and let the whole load of men have their share of lust over me and say that I'm modest at heart?
Come onnnnn....

I simply despise it when Muslims start to Halalize what is Haram.
You not doing what is Halal doesn't make it Haram, the same way you commiting the Haram doesn't make it Halal.

So stop interpreting Islam the way you want it to be because Islam is only one way and the way that we should all be.

Sheeeshhhhh
