Too Much Drama

Of late, I am such a dramatic person.

Well, don’t get me wrong. I don’t mean that I am turning into a histrionic person – not at all. (If I do, well.. I am not sure what will happen to me and my blog. One thing for sure, everything will be covered with bling bling stuff. Cool!).

So, no histrionic but dramatic. What’s this all about?

I didn’t update my blog in these few days because I was packed with my life in campus. Lol.. I sound like a very dedicated student although I am not. Am I?

kaun law

Here are some summaries on what had happened in my life in this whole, exciting week. I’m trying to reduce my procrastination in writing about my stories. So many things to write but so little time.. =(

#1 First of all, it is about the election day in my campus, University of Malaya.

I was one of the representatives for Tan Kee Aun who is the candidate. I believe you have read about this in my previous post. No? Well, read choose freedom because you don’t wanna miss any of the pictures, right? =)

We, the Green team were busy running for the campaign in the campus for the past few days (since Tuesday to Wednesday). It was a short period, only 2 days (to do our manifesto legally). So far, this is the shortest campaign I had ever experienced in the campus because previously, it took at least 1 week to run the campaign.

DSC08093

Although it was just a short moment, it was an amazing one. I could never imagine how adventurous and wonderful the journey could be, running for the campaign with a bunch of AWESOME PEOPLE. Yes. They are terribly awesome and I couldn’t find any other better vocabulary to define them.

kaun team1

I will never forget my first meeting with the few of them: Adilah, Firdaus, Terrance, Ruth, Gorge and Lavania in the MPMUM meeting room to paint the black and white banners. I was quite an introvert (which weird in my case) that day when I met them because I was new and had no idea on how to initiate nor join in their conversations (since they already know each other). Plus, my English isn’t that fluent. Well, I don’t have good English background and most of my friends and family members speak Chinese or Malay. So, I felt slightly apart.

Anyway, it didn’t take long for me to get in to the group because all of them are so friendly and warm. They make me feel like I have known them for ages. That’s the reason why I say, they are the AWESOME PEOPLE with positive energy. I’m lucky to be invited to join the team. Thank you Kee Aun, and my dear friends.. *hugs*

  DSC08086

Somehow, it didn’t work quite well with Gorge during in our first meeting. There was an awkward silence in the beginning of our conversation.

Me: Hi Gorge.

Gorge: What’s up?

Me: Emm… good day.

Gorge: *silence*Good day?

Me: *puzzle* (can’t I say good day? something new mah)

Gorge: *shocked* Good day?

Me: Well… I’m joking..

Gorge: *turning to Lavania and Kee Aun* Can you believe it? She said good day?

Me: *blushed* Well… o_O

Ahhww.. seriously, I was embarrassed for answering him with the answer. I thought of, why not saying something different, other than fine? or great? Treating it as a joke. Didn’t know the respond will be…. urgh.

I told Ilyana on the next day and she laughed like mad.. fine.. =_=

*****

Back to my story about the election day.

Tan Kee Aun failed to get into the MPMUM list with 2800 votes. The votes aren’t enough for him to join the MPMUM this year. No dancing in the rain with joy, shouting and singing the song of freedom and no buffet (ignore this part.. i am currently hungry over here while blogging this. lol).

The news did disappoint me when Kee Aun announced his loss in the election on Thursday evening (about 7.30pm). I was upset. We had been working so hard for the campaign but failed to get in to the final round. Somehow, he did cheer me up (and other sms readers) with a motivating and thankful words in the end of the message.

“Tan Kee Aun – 2800 votes. It wasn’t enough. But we have gained so much more than that. Much much more.. =) Thank you for all your support. Thank you for believing in us. Thank you for being free”.

He is right. We have actually gained a lot even though we failed to make it into the final stage. We have gained a good bonding of friendship especially among the 7 of us (Adilah, Firdaus, Lavania, Jess, Kee Aun, Ruth & I).

Of course, not to forget Jon and Terrance too. We ran, we sang, we danced, we screamed, we laughed, we hugged and we joked together in these past few days. Besides, we have sent the message that freedom is a choice.

To have freedom, you should know how to play your part: that’s to know how to choose for yourself. Next, we have entertained so many parties – the students, the lecturers and even the crew from NTV7. Lol..

DSC08087

I know they love us so much because we are awesome. Lol.. Watch this if you don’t believe in me.

Last but not least, we have gained a lot of trust and unconditional support from the students who believe in us. Of course, the credit should be given to Kee Aun because he really played his part well and leaded the whole team with organizeed strategy. He is a real good leader, who is not just ambitious in achieving his dream but also a friend who will care for his team-mates. For example, he will let the team to rest and encourage some of us to attend classes. Ahhww… isn’t he just so nice?

In my case, I have learned a few great lessons during in this period of time:

  1. You can be friends with almost anybody (it’s just a matter of if you want to)
  2. How to turn friends into family
  3. Be daring.
  4. How to sing properly (oops)
  5. Leadership skill
  6. How to persuade the lecturers to allow the team to do their manifesto.
  7. How to accept & deal with rejection
  8. Green look good on me
  9. Get into TV (with attention grabbing performances of course. lol)

Thank God for everything you have planned for me. Thank you for showing these lovely people to me as I have learned so much from them. Hope to see them again in future (which I believe we will). Yes? =)

#2 Bones Cracking & Muscles Pain

If you still remember, I did tell you about my ‘virgin excitement’ for taking acting class this semester. Acting class is something new to me because I have never taken any ‘artistic class’ other than art and music class.

Somehow, the excitement slowly reduces. It turns into a scary experience – Bone Cracking and Muscles Pain class. Why? You’re asking me why? I have never been told that students in the acting class will have to do exercises (like yoga)  in the class for a straight 2 hours. Well, it wasn’t a big problem for me to do all the streching stuff. But at least, tell me earlier because I was struggling while doing all those moves with my JEANS.

I know. I should wear something appropriate during in the class because we have been told earlier. But because of I have to help Kee Aun with the campaign, I couldn’t wear anything else, except jeans (as i have to walk all around the campus area).

So, in the end of the class, my bones and my muscles were in great pain – like an old lady who fall down from 20 stairs.. =(

camwhore  Self-timer

However, the funny thing is.. I was energetic when it comes to CAM-WHORING! You know me right.. when there are mirrors… you will see my images from the mirror in my camera.. kekekz.. XD

 dance5

This time, I have my friends with me… siap dengan posing lagi.. lol.

It is good to have this collection of photos because it will record all my memories including the bones and muscles pain experiences.. =_=

#3 Kabhi khushi kabhi gam

Rani, one of my coursemates took her ‘salwar kameez’ (Preetilata told me in facebook about the name of this beautiful costume) to class on Friday and she persuaded me to wear it. In fact, she forced me! *serious tone*.

Ok lah.. I am just joking. I was the one who wanna try it as I was so curious.

I got ‘wow’ from my audience and they said I look nice. Yeah, I do agree with them because this costume fits me well. Somehow, I look funny because the trousers look so Aladdin to me.. =P

Why he is so tall. Zz.

What do you think? Nice?

I guess, there will have no more drama in the coming week. It will be a more serious and formal one, because I am start giving counseling session to my clients. I have received a few appointments and I shall prepare myself starting by now.

Thank you for giving me such a memorable experiences. Love everyone of you here. Muacks.

P/s: Thank to Benjamin for your awesome photos.

Choose Freedom

You have no idea on how thrilled I was in this whole 26th January 2010.

Seriously, it is like my never-will-be-forgotten day. Firstly, I got to witness how awesome people speak, work and behave. Secondly, I get the chance to be in a totally green, expressive and with positive energy team. Then, I could experience how a real speaker speak in front of a big crowd with totally strange, unfamiliar faces.

re2

Is it awesome, or what?

I can see the criteria of a good leader and speaker in Tan Kee Aun whenever he is giving his speech. Even when he is just giving a small presentation in class, you can already have this good feeling about him. Well, how do I know? I was his classmate before, in one of the subject and I was impressed with his presentation. It is not just because of the point he has, but also the level of confidence he has in himself. Besides, he can connect very well with people around him (that’s why he is a good speaker and leader)

He has the voice, he has the heart and he has the brain to connect with people. This is why, I admire his talent so much and his willingness and sincerity in helping the students by improving the facilities in UM. I can feel that.

ee3

Based on these values, I agree in helping him for the campaign – for the student council thingy. Well, I am not doing any campaign, not even close to marketing or publicity. I am sharing whatever data I have key in, in my brain and heart; whatever I have experienced.

 rr2

At the same time, I wish to share how impressed I am with Tan Kee Aun’s fans GREEN t-shirt- Choose Freedom! Ah man! This is so awesome! I love the design and the message on the shirt so, so much. So creative and eye-catching!

At the same time, it has reminded me about William Glasser’s Theory in Counseling – Choice Theory. He highlights that always remember everyone has the choice to live the life he/she wants.

rrr

I had never have any green shirt as green as this (because I have this feeling that I will look darker). But I must say, I look great in this shirt, right? Oh ya… =)

freedom22 Taken in my Acting class by Azian. Thx u dear. Now I can see my hair from my back. I need another haircut!

Green fits the objective too because Kee Aun is having a big heart to make UM a greener place to live. I like his idea in reducing polystyrene use by replacing it with a safer and eco-friendly stuff. I am an anti-polystyrene and I am trying to reduce the usage in the cafe by bringing own plastic container. I guess, studying chemistry and having the knowledge in biology and Science have aware me to take care of the Earth from global warming.

Anyway, I do find out another new thing – something which I have never seen in my campus. It is the new Speaker’s Corner which located not far from the book shop.

DSC08067

I remember seeing this in the Western movie in which everyone is given the freedom to speak for whatever they want (freedom is choice!). Of course, there are some boundaries which one’s must be taken care of – like not touching certain sensitive issue especially about the ethnic and religion.

DSC08071

They just lunched it.

    DSC08069

Ever since yesterday, I have spotted a few reporters and video cameraman in my campus area. Anyone has seen me in tv? tell me if you did. lol..

I managed to snap a few pictures and also a video clip in order to feed my (and also yours?) curiosity.

I wonder, will I be able to step on this small stage and speak in front of the crowds? I guess I can – if there is something I wanna fight for.

DSC08072

*start switching on my imagination mode*

P/s: I did a full 2 hours stretching exercise in my acting class this morning. Oh dear.. it is so painful. All my muscles are aching, right now.. at this moment, especially my muscles on my stomach, hands and legs. I will be getting a bigger biceps, very, very soon..

Ahhwwwwwww…..

P/s/s: Glad to have a great dinner with my parents and my brother. It is good to get everyone gathered at the dining table during dad’s birthday. Calvin is flying to Hong Kong in another few hours. I know I am going to miss him, so do my parents. Safe journey dear bro.. (well, no point writing this here since he doesn’t read my blog. ceh~)

Unlock With Right Key

You know what?

I am doing the ‘last minute work….. again.

Haizz… I wonder, when will I turn into an ‘early worker’ like Asha, Soon Tatt or Shu Huan? (people whom I know good in early work)

When ar?

I’m probably tired of figuring out the answer. I don’t know when or how to be one and I am not sure do I have to be one? What a dilemma thought I have now. According to Myer Briggs’s personality test, I am in the ENFP category. One of the weaknesses that I will always remember about the ENFP-ian is the habit of being last minute.

Think of the fashion designer, the music composer, the artist or the writer. Most work is done spontaneously and nearing the deadline. I guess, even if they do it early, they will still end up not finishing their work because there will be too much of idea running in their heads and they have difficulty in finalizing their works.

Lol..

In my case, I have problem in picking up ideas. Well, I don’t mean I have qualities like a fashion designer, artist, musician or etc. No. I don’t think I am nearing those jobs nor the creative level. Anyhow, I do have difficulties in choosing the most ideal idea as there are so many thoughts which are created within hours, or maybe minutes. Well, well, well… those fast-pace thoughts are mostly successfully being created during critical moment – that is nearing deadlines.

Don’t tell mum. She will assume that I am lazy and good in giving excuses (which is not, k?)

So, this is the reason why, I am claiming that, I am doing last minute work, again. It happened just yesterday in which I have to submit my manila card size poster today (25th Jan 2010). I did manage to do it earlier although this work had been given like 3 weeks in advance.. haizz… why I so like that? =_=

Yesterday, another critical day where I squeezed my brain juice as hard as I could to get a few drops of inspiration so that I can finish my work on time with satisfaction. Although I am a last minute worker, I still want my work to be perfect (talking about perfect, I have written a post about being perfectionist before).

This time, I didn’t work alone because I have both my dad and mum’s help. Since this poster is targeted to employee who work in an organization, seeking advice from both the adults may help me in doing a better job – and I am right =)

After the ‘meeting’ with both my parents, I came up with this idea:

poster1

Seriously, I love this work so much – simple, professional and creative. Well, I don’t know how it appears to you, but I wish it looks in these ways.

poster3

It took me like whole evening till midnight to finish this up. The 'red heart’ took a long time to be done. Lotsa work.. Anyway, I am satisfy with it.

poster5

Before submitting my work to my lecturer, a photo of me & the poster must be taken or else, you might be questioning am I the real owner. So, here you are, the proof =P

I guess, I am too obsess with it or maybe too clever because I am using it for my counseling publicity. I am currently looking for clients and hope that this poster will help me attract your attention.. ;)

poster2

Thank mum and dad for the help and advice. Love you so much <3

P/s: There are still rooms for improvement. Maybe you can share with me on how the poster speaks to you and how can I improve it for better? Comments, critics and suggestions are most welcome. tq.

Current Obsession:

My very first light pink nail polish. Bought this for RM10 in the Beauty Fair (forgotten the exact name of the theme) at Midvalley, 2 weeks ago. Love it so much.

Tomorrow will be a fun day – because I will be doing the ‘green’ work.. ;)

The Goddess Mount Kinabalu

Another long awaiting post. Warning: Very long length post.

I know, you know. I am busy, ya-da ya-da.. ya-da ya-da.

Well, enough excuses and why not we just head over for the majestic Mount Kinabalu photos because this is going to be another worth reading travel post (I wonder, is there any unworthy blog post that I’ve ever posted? Never!)

If you still remember in my first few posts about my Sabah trip (which I didn’t expect you will because that was like so long ago.. -_-), you might be aware that my family, relative and I were staying in Kota Kinabalu, the city of Sabah. We stayed 2 nights at the same hotel in KK (Kota Kinabalu) before moving to Kudasang. You might want to find out what had happened in the 1st day and 2nd day if you have missed those posts. (WARNING: Never miss any post of mine, you get what I mean? NEVER! Because you’re risking your daily dose of happiness. Or maybe weekly.. lol)

Ok. Back to our main business.

Journey To The Goddess Mountain

#Morning at Kota Kinabalu Hotel

First of all, I would like to highlight the number of hours we had spent in that journey from Kota Kinabalu to Kudasang, which was our 2nd stop. It took about 6 hours with the help of GPS to reach the foot of Mount Kinabalu (I wasn’t sure it is exactly the foot. Well, since Uncle Khoo told me it is, than it is). We woke up early in the morning, about 6.30 am; me being the leader of the room leaded the whole plan – take bath and luggage packing plan.

Overall, the plan was a success. My cousins and I did a quite good job (to show to the adults that we can take care and handle things ourselves. Woo hoo!

That made us depart early. Oh ya. Have I told you about the day time in Sabah? It is earlier compare to the West Malaysia – like 2 hours in advance? Same thing goes to the night time. The day become dark at around 6.30pm. That’s mean, I have to sleep early and wake up early. Ah Man… =_=

 DSC06478

My breakfast in the hotel breakfast buffet. You need fruits to help you in digestion especially during travel because you will tend to drink less water while traveling.

Anyway, that is not a problem because I am good with adaptation (muahaha).

Uncle Khoo rented 2 cars for travel purposes from a good friend of his. So, my parents, Ary, Alice and I travelled in the same car – WAJA. As usual, the 3 of us were busy joking, singing and dancing animatedly in the car (with and without background music). That is the dynamic of the cousin-ship. It happened whenever we were together – when grandma was not around. Or else, we will be labeled as ‘siao zhar bo’. Lol..

There is a new behaviour formed among the 3 of us. Wait, it’s 2. There are new emerging photographers in the group and they are Ary and I… *applause*

currycurry

Did this spontaneously.

Mum treated us with these Connetto ice-cream. Which hand is mine? The first 2 who manage to guess it correctly will get a free Connetto ice-cream from me. Wahh… =D

Ever since the 2 of us start owning a digital camera, the craziness of photo-taking never miss a beat whenever there are enough battery and memory saving. This what I call, ‘The Now Phenomenal”. wtf..

#Hey UMS – UNFAIR leh!!!

Along the way, we did drop by Yayasan Sabah building (I wonder did I write the correct name?) and UMS – University Malaysia Sabah. Seriously, UMS is a beautiful university. In fact, it should be the most appealing university. Firstly, it is a brand new university (much younger than University of Malaya ok). Secondly, the architecture design, the colour and the view are marvelous (don’t compare it with UM ok. Hmpm). Next, it has the most spectacular view. This university is surrounded mostly by sea. That means, you can see, smell, hear and touch the beach and sea water whenever you want.

DSC06482

Only a picture was taken when I was in UMS because we were rushing to reach our destination early.

Unfair! Unfair! Why UM don’t have this scenery but only a bunch of civilize monkeys. Yes, civilized monkey which can steal laptop chargers, handphone, bra, instant noodle & etc. These are so far the record of the missing objects that I had heard of when I saw still staying in the hostel. Don’t pray pray ah.. =_=

Ok lar.. It’s my wrong too because I didn’t apply UMS at all So, I can’t complain anything about the ‘unfairness’. Yes?

So, after the 15 minutes tour in UMS, we soon, headed to our destination: Kudasang. It was a long journey from UMS to Kudasang. At first, the scenery did fascinate me as the view of flora and fauna are so wonderful. Besides, I love the clear cloudy sky and green. You can’t find this in Kuala Lumpur as it is too congested with sky-scrappers, vehicles and people.

 DSC06488

Somehow, the repetition of the similar scenery and the long hour of car moving  slowly rocked me to sleep, joining my other 2 cousins who had fallen asleep much earlier than myself. We were physically tired, as a result of  too much outdoor activities at Pulau Manukan.

DSC06486

Also, we played like mad the other night with our video recording project.. Shhhh… this is a secret. Keep it.

 DSC06470

Thus, good reason for a short nap in the car right?

# Pekan Nabalu

Well, I did wake up once in a while in order to make sure that my dad wasn’t fall asleep (who was also the driver). The whole journey was quite before dad saw the name of ‘Pekan Nabalu’ curved on the board.

DSC06512

We had another stop here for rest, lunch and mini shopping. Well, there wasn’t much stuff you can get here, other than pineapple, dried food and honey.

DSC06514

While the adults were busy doing their shopping, Ary, Alice and I took this chance to run up the mini tower. It was located in the middle of the big road.

DSC06497

DSC06489

DSC06490 DSC06492

DSC06493     DSC06495        I spotted a dog, passing the road.. =P

From this tower, we could see the whole Pekan Nabalu – which is actually quite small. At the same time, we could see fogs almost everywhere. Remember, when you see fogs, it indicates the weather is cold. That’s right, when you can see fogs in those pictures, that shows the temperature too. Chilling air... =)

DSC06499

To be frank, I love this place. I love the scenery, the air, the trees and the endless of bird chirping as well as bugs buzzing sounds.. It’s like listening to a full piece of Sonata pieces.

DSC06500

This place has convinced me that something even spectacular is going to show up when we travelled even further up the mountain; and I was right.

# Kudasang – The Perkasa Hotel

It took about another 1 and a half hour to reach Kudasang with the car air-conditioned being shift off. The whole journey was filled with only the natural O2 (and ours CO2 of course). You could spot Orang Asli housing area along the road – just like when you travelled up the Cameron Highland in Pahang.

Kudasang is even a colder place. My body might be frozen if I didn’t equip myself with a long sleeve shirt, a pair of long pants and a warm jacket. I am lucky to bring them seriously. Well, I have a weak body. I cannot stand extreme weather – not too hot and not too cold. I wonder how am I going to experience a snowing area with this type of adaptation.. I wanna play with snowman. haiz.. =_=

DSC06583

Uncle Khoo had made an early booking in one of the finest hotel in Kudasang and it is called the Perkasa Hotel. The 3 of us (the so called children lah, who else?) screamed and yelled in excitement when our hotel room was unlocked for the very first time.

“WAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! THIS ROOM IS BEAUTIFUL!!!”, we chorused together.

Again, Ary and I were rummaging around in our bags for cameras.

Notes: Not a 5 stars hotel but the atmopshere has already made these kids happy =D

Well, this is totally an healthy habit because that is why you can see all these pictures in my blog. Not an annoying habit k? *showing high mode of self-defense mechanism*

It’s true what! *firm tone*

kk17

This is how we transformed ourselves before we decided to go out for a chilling walk. Look like winter.. =P

# The ‘gruuu-gruuu’ night.

In the end of the day, the 3 of us decided to sleep early because we will see sunrise from our room windows. This is the main purpose on why we come to Kudasang and booked these 4 rooms in Hotel Perkasa. Uncle Khoo (who had been here before) wants us to enjoy the never-will-be-forgotten-scenery. Thus, we don’t wanna miss any chance in capturing this soon-to-be historical moment.

We went to bed when the Titanic ship has just hit on the enormous iceberg. It was about 11.40pm. We were watching Titanic movie half way, but forcing ourselves to end the pleasurable moment earlier before our parents come knocking our door, asking us to sleep.

Well, we thought we could very fast fall asleep with our tired body and mind. We really thought so. However, no one ever predicted that our stomachs stopped us from entering our dreamland early. Guess what? They screamed and cried hysterically for food!!!!

“GRRRRRRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUuuuuu!!!”

The scary thing was, each of us could hear our neighbours’ rumbling stomachs. If you haven’t realized, the 3 of us were sleeping together on a combination of 2 single beds. Alice was the one who slept in between me and Ary, and she could hear very clearly on our stomachs.

kk14

The persistence sounds of our crying stomachs followed by giggles from the 3 of us didn’t last long because the next 10 minutes, I gave up with our unstoppable noises by asking the very basic question.

“Want supper?”

Immediately, the 2 of them jumped out from the bed with an even louder laughter and heading to food. We were still laughing over our silly stomachs. Lol. Unfortunately, we didn’t store any food in the room. No milo, no bread and no biscuit. All we had were the Nescafe 3 in 1 packet and Sabah tea provided by the hotel. Oh ya, and some packets of Malaysia Airline roasted peanut.

Well, we were left with no choice. What else can we have other than caffeine drinks and junk food? Sob… We didn’t wanna wake our parents. No no.

funny1

I guess, the caffeine drinks were working because we didn’t sleep right after the s0-called supper. Instead, we spent some minutes cam-whoring on the beds. We wanna recorded this meaningful yet silly moment. Lol..

Lesson: Always store some food in your luggage/travel bag. You don’t know when you need them.

The 2 of them slept right after the cam-whoring session, leaving me alone in the reality land. I couldn’t sleep. The mild Nescafe drink had kept me away from joining my both cousins.

# The Distressing Moment.

I guess, I could only steal not more than 4 hours of sleep before my N-eggie started singing my favorite song “Way Back To Love”, indicating that the sun-rising moment was going to happen soon.

It was 5.30am and the sky was still dark. I pulled away the thick, heavy curtain so that I could see the sky dark sky clearly. The wee hour was extremely cold. The cold air which rushed in through the narrow gap between the windows chilled my spinal cord.

“Emmm…. no hints on where the sun will rise”, I whispered silently to myself.

Before I decided to return to the warm, comfy beds, I heard a tiny sound of foot steps from next room and a light  knock on the connecting door (Did I tell you, the rooms were connected? Sorry if I have forgotten). It was Uncle Khoo.

I was told by him that we were going to watch Mount Kinabalu from our room, not sunrise. Weird, did I hear the wrong thing? I thought all of us were expecting sunrise. Anyway, it is still great for me because I have never seen Mount Kinabalu for real!

We waited for another half an hour, witnessing the sky moderately getting brighter. Still, no sight of Mount Kinabalu. All I could see was the thick, white clouds, waltzing in front of me. Another 20 minutes passed, still no sight of the mentioned mountain.

In the end, Uncle Khoo announced, “Kelly, I don’t think we are going to see the peak as it is almost 7am. The receptionist said it is impossible to see the peak with these thick clouds especially during December. Maybe we should go to bed to have another hours of sleep”.

kk18

Gosh! No sunrise and no Mount Kinabalu?! I don’t wanna go back with disappointment. I want to see the mountain. I want to witness the mysterious scenery like what I heard from my friends.

I secretly revenged over my uncle’s suggestion. I didn’t move an inch from my seat which was placed beside the wide window. My determination was quite high at that particular moment. Although my brain was blank as a result of lacking of sleep, still, another part of me wanted to wait for miracle to happen. I didn’t know how high my possibility in meeting the mountain.

I had no idea. All I could do is to pray, wait and pray and wait for a fairy to come to make my wish comes true.

At the same time, I did tweet this whole moment. If you had followed my twitter on that day, you would have experienced your twitter timeline being flooded with my waiting-for-miracle-to-happen moment. I was very hopeful at that moment when everyone was sleeping soundly.

# MIRACLE HAPPEN!!!  MOUNT KINABALU =D

Well, I guess you know what was going to happen next since you have read my blog post title and seen the gorgeous photo of Mount Kinabalu. Yes! My prayer had been heard and responded.

MIRACLE DID HAPPEN!!!

If you could get this ending, you’re a sensitive person – which is good =)

I COULD SEE THE MOUNT KINABALU FINALLY!!!!

Isn’t it gorgeous?

What a splendid scenery. Oh my. I have never seen anything as impressive as this. I must have been dreaming… *knock knock*

Within a second, my uncle, who was still awake ran over to our room and wake the rest of the children (Ary and Alice) with an excited tone. “Wake up! Wake up! See the Mountain dear…”, he shouted animatedly.

Immediately, I called my parents too who was in another room. Within 2 minutes, the whole families were awake, including my grandma to welcome the arrival of the Mount Kinabalu.

I feel like saying, “Your highness.. welcome to the family”.. Lol.. this is crazy.

Again, Ary and I were busily snapping pictures in almost every corner (wherever we could get). Not a minute was wasted because the peak was easily being covered by the thick clouds. Well, we were lucky because the wind was quite strong in which it carried the clouds away in a faster speed before Mr Sun came out.

I heard from uncle that the mountain will be covered by the clouds again when the sun is getting brighter and warmer. It will roughly at about 10am. Also, it is a time where all the Mount Kinabalu hikers should leave the mountain because it is the most dangerous moment when thick clouds and fogs conquer the whole area. You might have difficulty in finding way to walk back home.

Wooooooooooooooo~

Isn’t it sounds scary? Somehow, I wish to climb the majestic Mount Kinabalu one day with my cousins and friends. It must be a fun experience!

Ary told me the same thing too. She wishes to plan a trip to climb the mountain one day when she is financially stable. Oh dear.. I can’t wait!

You might be asking, why I called it the Goddess mountain or the Majestic mountain. Uncle Khoo has told me that if you make a wish in front of this mountain with sincerity, your wish will come true.

Well, I did make 3 wishes.

Not going to reveal. Nop.  *zip my mouth and fingers*

The moral of the story:

a) Never give up until the end of the battle.

b) There can be miracle when you believe’. (A big thank to Mariah Carey and Whitney Housten for the ‘When You Believe’ song. It kept on playing in my mind when I was waiting for Mount Kinabalu. Thank God for the wonderful moment or else, this wouldn’t be a happy ending post).

*wink*
