Should Free Condoms Been Distributed To Students?

Which steps will help to prevent AIDS?
  1. Distribute free condoms to the students
  2. Educate the youngsters about sex in class
  3. Give talk about AIDS
  4. Organize educational activities about sex
  5. Reduce the number of illegal prostitutes? Illegal?

Wait a minute, did I hear someone say... what's AIDS?
OMG... You don't know? AIDS?

Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) is a collection of symptoms and infections resulting from the specific damage to the immune system caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) in humans and similar viruses in other species (SIV, FIV and etc).

How will the viruses transmitted into human body?
HIV is transmitted through direct contact of a mucous membrane or the bloodstream with a bodily fluid containing HIV, such as blood, semen, vaginal fluid, preseminal fluid, and breast milk. This transmission can come in the form of anal, vaginal or oral sex, blood transfusion, contaminated hypodermic needles, exchange between mother and baby during pregnancy, childbirth, or breastfeeding, or other exposure to one of the bodily fluids.

Side effect?
Death.

I'd been into the library and found out a very interesting statistic about AIDS- In which we need to know.

From the Journal of The Social Sciences (Vol 34, No4, 2006-Kuwait University Council of Academic Publication)
International statistic have concluded that the HIV sparked the AIDS epidermic first surfaced in people sometimes around 1930, probably in Central of Africa.

In todays world, they have estimated 42 million of people are living with HIV/AIDS. Wait a minute? 42 million??! Gosh! In the year of 2003, there were 5 million of people being affected by this virus-42 million of adults and 700,000 children under the age of 15.

Isn't that scary?
Try to imagine... in 2003 there were 5 million of people who were facing AIDS, how about 2008? I believe the number will double or even triple each year if it's left unsolved.

Maybe you will say... "Ceh... I won't get AIDS one, so why am I read this?
Dear my friends, anything can happen on us even AIDS.... is not an exception. So, why don't we take note of every disease in the world and find measures to prevent it? Prevention is better than cure.

Thank Popjammerz a.k.a rue for introducing this Mission Possible Conference to me and I'm happy to help them by blogging about it:

The conference will be held in University Putra Malaysia from 1-4 May 2008. It's all about what you wanna know from the start, "Should free condoms been distributed to the students?". Haha... Actually, that's my own question. This question has been an issue to the Malaysian for years. Unlike in Western country, they have practice this and at the same time educate the youths in an effective way.
How about Malaysia?

If you're interested with this kind of discussion, maybe you can try to register yourself for this conference? (Oopss... this is open to Malaysian)
