Moon Dog In Kuala Lumpur

The view is spectacular!!!
OH MY GOD!

I will never ever forget this moment of seeing a Moon Dog (or known as paraselene) with my own eyes. Never! It’s such a holly phenomenon that last almost half an hour at my place. I was stunned with the beauty of the Moon Dog phenomena.

Calv called me about 11.50pm, asking me to go out and watch the moon. I was actually watching youtube on a shared clip before making myself to walk out from the house. I was in a questioned mode, wondering what kind of surprises the Moon will bring me again?

Together, we saw this:

moondogs210-10-2011 (at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)

In another 15 minutes time, a plane passed by and I got this ‘super extraordinary’ scenery. Unique~

Notes: Photos taken using my pink-eggie (compact camera)
This is called, ‘Rarer than the rare’

And this makes me wanting to sing, “can we pretend that airplane in the night sky like shooting star?” Lol..

Calv has checked information about this phenomena online and he learned that it’s called Moon Dog (almost similar to Moon Ring) from Wikipedia. It stated that it’s an extremely rare phenomenon and it doesn’t happen often (rarer than sun dog). For more info, click wikipedia.

It might be called as a Moon Right. After some researches and readings, I still believe it’s not Moon Ring, but Moon Dog because it’s not exactly a full moon.

Anyway, I feel extremely lucky to be able to witnessed the Moon Dog in my housing area and snapped some photos, while talking on the phone with Calv. The experience is marvelous and romantic. What a goddess moon.

This has reminded me about my previous discovery on the Smiley Moon. That too, happened once in a live time. I am fortunate to be able to get good picture with my same camera. Head over here for the smiley moon post.

So, have you seen it? Do you able to capture it with your camera? There is a friend who managed to capture with rainbow effect. So unique.

Hope you feel as lucky as I am with the best photos I could take =)

P/s: Moon always gives me surprises with her wonders <3

No Chen Shui Bian, Yes Tuan Tuan Yuan Yuan

This is my first morning, wake up without hearing any news about Chen Shui Bian and I am totally shock!

Ever since I am having my semester holiday, the name of 'Chen Shui Bian' has been monopolizing Taiwan's headline and there is no chance one will miss it.

I guess, Tuan Tuan Yuan Yuan have saved the Christmas eve and become the main headline in time. In case you might be curious, it is my dad who watches Taiwan news every morning in Astro. That's why I am drawn to the Taiwan news as well.

While am dreaming on my bed this early morning, half sleep, half awake, all I could here was the Tuan Tuan and Yuan Yuan. Worse, they even appeared in my dream. Wua la... I guess I shall thank to the Internet for allowing me to browse the news yesterday night right at a click which allowed me to dream of them after hearing upon news.

Ahhhhhwwww..... Now I wish to have a panda...
Can I get one tonight, Santa?

P/S: Tuan Yuan in Chinese mean united. It is a great gift to Taiwan who has been waiting them for... 3.5 years? haha...

Merry Christmas!

Obama, You Make Me Cry!

Sorry to say that...
I fail to study today. Shit!

Everyone takes it so seriously including facebook.

Well, who will study when Astro is showing the result of the election in US, live? Not when my dad couldn't stop screaming and yelling in the living hall when the result showed 8-3 in the first place. He thought Barack Obama is going to lose (9am in Malaysia).

Ridiculous!

How could my idol lose?
The result show: 156-338

Oh my. He's such a motivator. I am touched while listening to his speech in Chicago. In fact, his words are still spinning on my mind right now. He has made me feel like a part of them too - as the people on the earth.

I can't wait to see the changes in USA as it is the most influential country for eras. Whatever changes they make, they will definitely effecting other countries. I wanna see a more humanistic US, caring the needs of other country, understand the people and share ideas together.

At the same time, how I wish Malaysia can change too - a harmony, peaceful and productive country. When ah?
Sigh....

Whatever it is, I'm going to make Barack Obama my idol. Yes! He's smart, intelligent, out-spoken, loving, caring, handsome, wise and any positive values! Ahhww... and he's so sentimental. Whenever he speaks about his late grandmother, I could hear his thick, shaking voice- showing how he misses his grandmother. Besides, he really love his family and the people who have been supporting him.

Watch this video clip if you haven't:

Or enter this link for the video. You will not regret to spend some times, listening to his speech.

Obama.
You're ROCK!

Don't Buy Slipper Made By China

WARNING: There are disgusting photos in this post. If you don't want to spoil your meal, stop scrolling down the page and escape.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Again, this is about my email which I received yesterday. This time, it is a caring email from Asha, my lovely mama (she's so caring till I want to call her mama).. :P

Thank dear for the email and wish you don't mind if I post it here in my blog.

Frankly, I feel that these photos are even scarier than my ghost post. Look at the feet!
Eeeeeeeehhhhhwwwwwww....

Is that really the effect of wearing the slippers which are made from China? Is it so serious? I wonder is it because of the type of rubber they used in making the slippers? Emmm... question question question...

I still remember the news on how the producers in China use recycled condoms to make hair bands. Eikssssss! Isn't that disgusting? And it's so unethical and immoral business practices . I can't imagine the number of sperms tying on my hair. Or even stick on the hair. AIDS! HIV!

Eeehhhwwwwwwwwww!!!

We should really be careful in choosing China products these days. Still remember the Chinese milk scandal? Keep this in mind.

Hot Sales Hot Sales! Just RM0.0027 For Petrol

Wondering did you read the wrong blog title?
RM0.0027 for one liter of petrol? Or one milliliter?

Of course RM0.0027 for one milliter silly.. There will be no cost lower than this, never again in Malaysia. Sigh...

Just some hours ago, our Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi just announced the rising price for petrol, diesel and electricity and the new price will be effective starting by this midnight (5 June 2008)

New Price
a) Petrol = RM 2.70
b) Diesel = RM2.58
c) Electricity = Up to 18% for home and 26% for business user

For more detail, visit here.

So, what happen next?
The Malaysian are now rushing to the nearby petrol station and fill their cars with as much petrol as possible. They don't mind if their cars will be 'overloaded' with petrol. Who cares? We're now more concern with our purse which will burst in any minutes. OMG! I will end up eating bread for the entire life.

Just an hour ago, dad was trying to line up to get a place to fill up his car. Guess what? The petrol station was crowded with people. I bet, every petrol station in Malaysia is now filled with road users...

If your car hasn't hit the word 'F' in the petrol meter, go and hit it now or you will regret for the rest of your life.

I think my personal message in MSN which I typed it since yesterday sounds so true.... gua...

*Updated*
Thank smashpop for sharing this in Twitter. Now we've a cute video clip here regarding to this issue.. Gosh.. I guess can't imagine walking like "THAT".....

Malaysia Met Mr.Earthquake Yesterday?

Gosh!
I really couldn't believe my eyes when my mum was shouting and pointed to the aquarium. The water was shaking!

She could feel the light vibration at around 10.30pm. I thought it was a joke. Maybe someone was using the amplifier and was causing the vibration. Then, until this morning my statement has been proved wrong.

It's true. Malaysia has earthquake and the area in Kuala Lumpur especially Wangsa Maju, Setapak was facing a great vibration. OMG! The radio (My FM) had just reported it.

What happen actually?
Well. I'm quite blur actually. All I know is that Sumatra in Indonesia had earthquake last night. Sigh.. What is happening to our world? Whay happen to Asia?
For all the while, I thought we're quite safe?

Do share with me if you've anything to be shared it here. I want to know how many of us had felt the earthquake. And make sure you'll take good care of yourself OK?
May God bless us. Amitabha...

*Update*
Joshuaun from Malacca could feel the earthquake too.

P/s: Lately, I'm too emotional with disasters. I'm joining China for the mourning. As a result, most of my posts will be related to the latest news. Sorry for the sudden change. I just blog whatever I feel right now, at this moment. Curryegg will be back soon.. hopefully.. :)

May, The Month Of Disaster

I thought the month of May should be a relaxing month for the students since the semester break is starting or will start soon (in most country). However, it's out of my expectation.

Each day, the media will report big issues such as how the parliament in Malaysia acted like a zoo, how men are going to extinct in another 1 million years and how Josef Fritzl raped his daughter, Elisabeth in an underground dungeon - and the abuse lasted 24 years.

He should be put in the jail and serve the community for the rest of his life.
:(

Well, those are not a big, serious issues if compare to the cyclone in Myanmar and earthquake in Sichuan Province, China which has killed nearly 68,000 and 10,000 death respectively (and the amount of death being reported is still increasing each day).

What's happening to our Mother Earth right now?
Is it a hint that the world is going to end, soon?

I really couldn't stop myself from being upset and heart-breaking whenever I watch the news on Myanmar and China. The cyclone in Myanmar has drown thousands of lives while the earthquake was powerful enough to be felt throughout most of China. Many children were buried under the rubble of their schools. Isn't that cruel? Why God is taking away so many lives within weeks? Have we done something wrong?
Look at these:

Photos from Myanmar

Photos from China.

Resources: BBC.New

What do you see from these photos?
Grief, sorrow, severe losses and suffer.

Sometimes I feel that God is really cruel for taking away so many innocent lives within minutes. Why he willing to grab away lives of the innocent students who were eager for knowledge at school? Why do he willing to drown the poor residents in Myanmar and left nothing for those who survive? Why people like Josef Fritzl is not been punished?

I know, we should blame the God. There are always reasons behind any incident. Maybe human should be blame for polluting the world each millisecond in every part of the world. We pollute the air, we pollute the water and land. As a result, global warming occurs and this has caused a big hole on our ozone layer. Sigh... Big sigh...

Maybe you're thinking that global warming has nothing to do with natural disaster. Well, there is a correlation between global warming and cyclone in Myanmar. If you've watched a movie, "The Day After Tomorrow" you will know how global warming will cause flood.

The effect of global warming:

Increasing global temperature will cause sea level to rise, and is expected to increase the intensity of extreme whether events and to change the amount and pattern of precipitation. Other effects of global warming include changes in agricultural yields, trade routes, glacier, retreat, species extinctions and increases in the ranges of disease vectors.

From Wikipedia.

Global warming will bring a great effect to all of the residents on earth from every now and then. We should get prepare with all the possibilities. At the same time, we should put in some effort to prevent global warming from becoming worse.

There are several easy practices which we can do:
  1. Reduce the use of plastic/polystyrenes/paper.
  2. Reduce the use of CFC stuff
  3. Stop open burning
  4. Recycle or reuse our old stuff
  5. Remind others about global warming and human roles (human need to be reminded all the time so that it will enter our long term memory)

Actually, I'm not planning of doing a campaign on saving the world at the first place while blogging about this post. Somehow, I don't know how I've come into this idea on how we can help the world. Lol..

Seriously, I hope I can help like these people who're giving their hands to those victims.

sending food to the victims

I still couldn't effort to give $$$$ to help those victims but I hope I can help. So, I've come to this idea to blog about this and hope people around the world can help them- either by donating money to them via any agency or by passing this message to others.

Remember, we're lucky to be here with all the luxuries we have in our lives right now (or else, we will not be able to sit in front of the computer comfortably, reading this post, am I right?).

So be grateful with what we have and help those who're in need.
They need our support.

Giant Fried Eggs On Holland's Steets

I just couldn't believe what I had heard about the gigantic fried eggs on Holland's streets when the reporters reported about the news last night. When they showed the photos on the television, it's true!

Fried Eggs on the street?
Who are the person who dare to cook my egg species?
Egg terrorism
!!!

Eerr..... I gotta save them!

Look.... These are the gigantic fried eggs which left on the street. How pity they are.. sob...

Photos grabbed from Weberence.Com

Haha...
Don't worry. It's just an artwork from a Dutch artist, Henk Hofstra at the streets of Leeuwarden, a city in the north of the Netherlands. This art work is named “Art Eggcident”. Sounds interesting right? Each egg is approximately 30 meters wide. Wow.. that's huge.

Actually, this is a 'Save The World' campaign. It's to increase the awareness among the society to save our mother earth. Will it work? And what's the meaning between fried eggs and the earth issues? Is it related to global warming which cause the Earth's temperature increases and that is why the egg is fried? I hope that campaign will work.

@_@

Now, I am wondering, will he make curry with eggs in a bowl for me in Malaysia if I request? Haha....

If you're interested with the recipe click here.

Curry Egg!!!!

Yeah!!
