Which Comment Systems Better?

Dear readers,

Lately I’m playing with the blog commenting system but not aware that I’ve changed the setting. Before I thought of correcting my mistake, I found a number of quality comments where my readers responded to the question with their personal sharing. I am really happy and excited with comments I received lately from you!

I am serious!!! =D

It’s been a year I’ve not received much comments and I thought you don’t love me anymore… *sob*

However, from this incident, I realize I might be wrong (please prove me wrong and tell me you still love me) *desperate mode*

I remembered that there were several times I received complain from my friends that they couldn’t comment because the system failed to post their writing. After several attempts, they gave up and chose to sms or send me message in FB instead.

I don’t know if this happen to you too? I really wish to know so that I have an idea on how to handle this matter. So here is the question. Which comment system below is better?

1. Disqus

Example of this system: Have I Made You Smiled?

2. Blogger

Here is a poll to on these 2 systems and I really hope to hear from you. Please help me to figure out which one I should use in the coming blog posts. I am really undecided at the moment.

I can’t deny that each of your response mean a heaven to me although people keep on saying, “blog for yourself and not for others”. Well, yes and no for certain extend. For me, blog works both sides and the experience is more meaningful when there is ‘give and take’ situation.

Looking forward to hear from you soon. Thank you dears~

P/s: Coming post on Cheers 2 Art. Stay tune.

May I know More About You?

Sometimes I wonder....

Who are my readers?
Where are they from?
Why are they here?
What do they love to read?
Which type of post do they love the most?
How do they reach my blog?

And all those 5W+1H questions keep spinning in my mind. It's not that I don't like readers! I love my readers a lot...lot...lot, more than you know. Frankly, the main reason why I love readers is because of they will leave me comments- valuable comments which are synonymous with feedbacks for my blog or my posts (or both!).

The reason why I turn myself into a Blogger user instead of Friendster is because of I want a bigger exposure in networking, not until I know that I can make money as well. It's always fun to meet new people and become friends at the end. No man is an island, do you agree with me? I was an active blogger in Friendster before (my Friendster's blog). However, I didn't get much feedbacks from my friends in Friendster and I thought they might not interested with whatever I blog there. Soon, I created an account in Blogger and start pouring my story into this blog, expecting a bigger range of niche. Well, it does happen. Thank you to all my readers. Hugs.. I love you the most..

*Jumping up and down in front of my computer*

The number of reader in this blog is increasing day by day and this does motivate me to blog more often. Thank you my friends for paying your visit to this blog. I'm glad to have you here. However, I'm still puzzling with the '5 Wife + 1 Husband' questions. I wish to know you deeper, as deep as I can, may I? Well, don't worry. I don't need your personal details. Just help me to answer some simple questions in my poll which is placed next to my sidebar (The blue pool which is on your right hand side). Let me get a clearer idea about my readers. Wow! Isn't that great? This is my first time getting in touch with my readers... ;)

Since I'm eager to receive your comments (eggs), I wish to receive some feedbacks from you on your 'like and dislike' about how the comments being stored, used and responded. Just leave your answers in the blue poll. They will help me to understand your needs and expectations. Thank you in advance!

Here are some details I need to add for the poll. Just in case some of you might not know what's the Cbox mean, it's a chat box which I've placed beside my side bar. Some of you might not have a cbox. It's ok. Just click the answer on 'what's a cbox'.

The last question of the poll will be, "Is it Ok if Curryegg blog about your comment and post it up in her blog?". Here is one of the example I've done before.

Last but not least, you can leave an 'egg' (comment) for me at the end of this post. Do tell me your opinion, suggestion or anything which has come up in your mind. I will be glad to hear them... ;)

Have a nice day.. Hugs.. ;D

Shall The Women Pick Up the Bill?

I came across with this article "Pay Your Half, Princess!" in the CLEO magazine from the his say session and found it interesting.

It's about should the girls pay the bill or at least pay half during dates? Matt, the writer has brought up an interesting point :

"If the women are equal, how come men pick up so many bills?"

You pay for the movie.
You pay for meals.
You pay for the clothes that she like.
You pay for the parking tickets.
You pay everything!

Hey guys.
Is this sounds true to you?
Do you agree it?

You start paying bill for your first dates...

Until you're married and old... and you still have to pay for the bills?
Sound true uhh?

Well, this sounds true to me since in this 21 century we, the females get the same opportunity with the males in most aspects including education, job, status and etc. Unlike in those days where sexual discrimination was so strong (I think it's still happening in some countries). Women were being treated like slaves. They didn't have the freedom to do things they like and worst, they even lost their dignity.

Hey! Stop that!

Lucky for me that I am not in those days where the gap between the status of men and women is so big. Now we get the right to stop gender discrimination. And STOP the sexual harassment cases as well! Eerr..... ;(

Since we're equal to men now, I think I still can effort to foot the bills (if I am working), sometimes. Honestly, I don't mind to pay. I think this is fair to both couples. Besides, the men's burden on financial can be reduced since they have to pay for two persons for each date.

We will kindly pay for it.

Anyway, if I ever come across with a guy/guys who expect me to pay for them all the time during dates (which I call it as roles-shifting), I believe it will be my last date with him. No matter how strong a woman is in todays world, we still need a man to pamper us, love us, take care of us, support us and be a gentleman. Well, I don't mean that the guy should take all the responsibility for the person he dates with. Just try your best. And you can tell us your situation. I believe we will understand it and will go to the hawker stall for meals instead of Secret Recipe or Chilis.

Sometimes, guy's ego is too high. They are afraid of telling the true. As the result, girls hardly understand their mates. So, it's better if the guy can discuss with the girl in a good way regarding with his financial burden. And girls! We should take care of our partner's purse. Or else... you know the consequences.

You're partner is so stress. Lol....

Looks like I've to bare this in mind too... ;)
Here is a poll and I am doing a survey on it. Please take part on it. It will be fun to have your vote!
