My Diary

We're already in the first day of June which I hope it will be a better month for the world. I know it will.

Looking back at the month of May, I feel completely empty, cold and dark. I don't know why. Maybe... it's because of the disasters in China and Burma which have affected my emotion indirectly? Right now I'm still grieving for the victims and this is the reason why my blog is still in pink. Something has stopped me from taking down the banner.

What has stopped me? Well, since my house has installed with Astro (TV programme), I'm given the chance to watch live news and shows. And this opportunity has helped to to understand the world better. No more out-dated news, no more fake news. Thank to Astro. (How do I live without you?)

Everyday, there will be latest news about Shi Chuan (victims, volunteers and donors) and everyday, the news will touch my heart. I can see how motivated the victims want to survive. I can feel the helping spirit among the people around the world. They have showed me that, life is beautiful and we shall be grateful with what we have.

Unconsciously, my perception towards life is slowing changing. I'm not sure is it good or bad. But for sure, it's leading me to a more positive view of life. I can come out with more philosophy right now. Haha.. 'Don't pray pray ah'.

This post is inspired by Hong Kong's spirit for their 512 donation campaign (8 hours) which has just ended few minute ago. Hundreds of China, Hong Kong and Taiwan artists are giving their hands by running the campaign together. I'm touched, again.

No One Should Give Up, Not Even You

What's your feeling right now?
Can you feel the pain?
What can we do to help them?

Every photo here tell a story. No matter what, no one should give up, not even you. Life is fragile. No one will know what will happen in another few seconds. Therefore, be grateful with what you have and share your love with others. They need you.

Because...
When love is around, life is around.

No one should give up their life, not even you. I know we can go through this, together.
Promise?

A Big Thank You To These Bloggers

News on China and Burma are still becoming the headline in daily newspaper and the media. Everyone in every corner of the world is trying their best to give a hand to these country. However, it's kinda complicated when it comes to Myanmar. Myanmar doesn't want other country to help (not allowing foreigner to enter the country) and I'm really disappointed with the country policy which is set by the government. The victims are suffering, can they see it? It should be: people first, power second policy.

Both countries are facing their own crisis and they need up from other country. Other than donating money or stuff to this country, I've come up with "using the same banner" idea few days ago. I'm really glad to get some feedbacks of my blogger friends in which are joining this campaign.

Hugs.. Thank you guys for sharing this banner for Burma and China. I know, we want the world to be safe and peaceful. The banner is good to remind everyone about world peace. Let's join this campaign! I know China is still struggling looking for more survivors, so we shouldn't stop supporting them here. If you still haven't make any donation to either this/both countries, do try to do so as they really need the money.

If you wish to join the list, do email (curryegg87@gmail.com) me and I will send you the file. Then, comment here and let me know that you've uploaded it. I will add your blog in the link as a return. Thank you.

Remember to take good care of yourself and be safe. I will be here, praying for everyone. Amitbha..

Using The Same Banner For China-Burma

I'd spent the whole evening creating this banner and I'm impressed with my work. Lol.. I know I'm not an expert in Photoshop but at least I'm trying my best.

Since I'm joining the campaign for Burma and China by turning my blog into red for a week, a crazy idea was rushing into my mind. Maybe we can try using the same banner for this campaign?

To have the right pixel for this image, you can email me and I'll send you the file. Then you can place your blog name in the header. (curryegg87@gmail.com)
Notes: If you've any suggestion do share it here. Thank you.. ;)

The main objective of this header is to remind others about their suffers. Besides, it's to show our love and support to them.

  • We can motivate those survivors of this disasters to keep on living their lives although they have lost their family.
  • We can support those volunteers who are still passing food and looking for survivors to keep on helping the victims.
  • We can convince those rich, but stingy businessmen to donate some money? (Lol...)
  • We can remind ourselves to live a happy, positive life because... we are LUCKY.

When everyone is doing the same thing, the message will be very clear and strong. So, let's spread the news and ask others to join by using the same banner (for 3 days?).

Remember, we the blogger have a very strong convincing power.
Let's do our part.. :)

Going Red For China And Myanmar

More and more people around the world are lending their hands to help the victims in China and Myanmar. At the same time, the media keep on showing the news of these disasters ever since the incidents took place. Why? They're trying to send the message to the fortunate countries about how bad the situations are. They need our support, love and help.

I've been seeing a lot of volunteers (from the TV) around the world are helping the victims who were trapped in the water (Myanmar) and the collapsed buildings (China). I'm touched. I just couldn't stop my tears from rolling down whenever I watched the news of the people in China and Myanmar.

Now, people in China especially in SzeChuan province are spending their time in the local online forums and bulletin boards. Some are looking for their lost relatives, some are posting photos and video at the place, and some are looking for help. Click here to read more.

It did make me realize that they need our support, love and help. So, why not we gather our energies here and show our love in the blogosphere to them? At least, we can show how much we care for them while they're suffering over there?

How Can We Help To Show Our Support?

I've visited Puvanan's blog and have found out on the Global Action Day for Burma's Cyclone Victims campagin. It's a good campaign and easy to follow. Just turn your blog into red to show your support for Myanmar.

So why not we join this campaign for the victims not only in Myanmar but China as well by turning our blog into red or pink? Maybe.. for at least 3 days in this week?

Since Wesak Day is on 19th of May 2008 (tommorrow), I'm going to start this campaign soon. So are you going to join with me? Let show our love by turning our blog into red for only 3 days. Remember, they need us...

Happy Wesak Day...
Amitabha...
