Love Me

For the very first time of the month, I find myself unable to sleep. Well, it was normal to face this situation in the past 2 months when I was struggling with my academic writing. But now, when I have no commitment at all?

 

Ok. Not to say ‘NO commitment’ at all.

 

I probably understand why there are changes in my sleep pattern today. I am nervous with my unfinished slides (stuck somewhere) and the idea of presenting my paper in an International Conference on Wednesday (tomorrow!). I saw a few of my lecturers’ names in the schedule and I will be placed with my respected lecturer, presenting in the same room. Whoa…. that’s the ultimate heart tester. Wait, what am I talking about? I should be proud.

 

I guess, I am worried that my topic is too ‘rare & cold’ that no one actually wanna hear my idea, making the room empty. Or, there might be a big crowds which I might not be able to handle with endless questions from the experts. Can’t help but having these negative thoughts and I just wish to do ‘self-therapy’ here at this hour. Lol… excuses.. =P

 

By the way, it is fun to see dad snoring at the living hall while I am still sitting at a corner, doing some writing here. This has reminded me about this photo which I created for him, specially for father’s day :)

 

My mum is so lucky to be blessed with a considerate, wise, happy-go-lucky and charming boyfriend =D

 

I just simply love my dad (and of course mum too) for whoever he is. I feel blessed to be born in this family. They are wonderful parents who always care and love me no matter how good or bad I had been. They are the people who always accept me – for whoever I am though there are fights and quarrel once in a while. That’s the beauty of relationship I have with my parents *love*.

 

Alright, it’s time to continue my preparation again for the conference.. *amitabha*

Ever since I reached the age 20, these questions have keep on spinning on my mind. I mean, I always have dreams ever since I know how to spell my own names. It started from dreaming to have a set of Barbie doll, a full collection of drawing set, an astronomy book, a PSP, a happy relationship and a career.

There are some of my dreams being fulfilled, some nop, some in the process. It makes me realize that life is equivalence to life. Without dream, there will have no life. Should it be...

Dream = Life

I do have a dream. I want to achieve it before 30. Will I? Yes. I believe in hopes, I believe in hardwork and I believe in myself. No matter what will happen in future, as long as I'm trying my best in achieving them, I am my own winner. Winner in the sense that, the real warrior.

Murmures

Sitting besides the lake with my laptop on my laps, slowly, I sipped my drink with a total enjoyment. The morning breeze and the harmonious chirps from the birds have created such a relaxing atmosphere for my body and mind. Unconsciously, my eyes were closed and the next thing I found myself was dancing around the compound.

I could feel a strong connection between the environment and I. The moving water and the shaking trees seemed like trying to steal my attention. They did. I could feel they were murmuring something to me, sending me messages which I could hardly perceive. I feel safe and there is nothing as relaxing as sitting on the grass, facing the big lake with soothing winds. How I wish I could stay there a bit longer.

Playing the song Murmures from Richard Clayderman on my electronic piano, I start fantasying in my room. I just can't stop myself from imagining whenever I hit the notes. To be honest, I'm not good in playing piano although I've started playing it like... 12 years? I just feel lazy to practice my piano as my age grow older. I rather choose blogging and chatting.. haha...

However, lately I'm motivated to continue my journey with the presence of my piano. My interest in music is growing again and unbelievably, I've recorded my own playing yesterday. Isn't that awesome? You can hear my piano singing but sadly with some errors here and there.

But no worries.. there are room to be improved! (advice by May)

A Romantic Moment In The Venetian Macao

I've been editing all my video clips when I was in The Venetian, Macau since last evening and finally, they are done and ready to be served for you my friends..

The editing job is really time consuming and I can feel someone is angry towards me.. Oopss.. Sorry.. I will do my job after this.. Hoho...

Well, luckily I still managed to capture some of these photos in the building despite the heavy rain.

This 10,500,000-square-foot (980,000 m²) building is call The Venetian Macao which is actually a casino resort in Macau, China. It is the largest single structure hotel building in Asia and third largest building in the world. For more info: Here.

Of course, description in Wikipedia is not enough to make fall in love with the place. All you can see are thousand of words describing about the view, accommodation, people and etc. They are not enough to bring you into the world of The Venetian which imitates the atmosphere in Venice, Italy.

My cousin, Kiiro had attempted to waltz with me but OMG! Dancing in the middle of the street with so many people watching? I might get into the YouTube. No no.. I'm too shy to dance. Lol..

Besides the alluring music, "What A Wonderful World" played by the violinist and the pianist, there is another surprise from the river... Ok.. the man-made-river.



It's the singing gondola! Lol.. haha.. Isn't that romantic? You get a ride on the gondola and someone is singing for you. Ahwww.. but sigh.. It's too expensive for me to try. Sob.. I can't effort it. Sigh..

Next... there is a mysterious white statue in the place. No no.. I have made a mistake. I mean, there are a few but I managed to capture one.

Along the way, I had met up with a magician and it was such a great meeting. He had done some tricks on me and I thought my cousin had managed to capture the whole process. Unfortunately, my digital camera didn't work well and it ended up like this...

Just a short one. Sigh.. It's ok. I will find him out again, next time. I will request him to use curry and egg instead. Cool!!!

The Venetian Macao is a real amazing place to be discovered. In Macau, there are about 30 casinos and The Venetian Macao is the largest and the most attractive among the others. To be frank, I'm not attracted to the casino. Instead, I love the design and the atmosphere.





I feel like I'm visiting a palace. Lol...
Ok then, it's time to go home..

Music has been a part of my life ever since I was born into this world. I guess, I can hear sound from the womb when I was about... 32 weeks? Nah... I don't remember that. I'm just a fetus and I'm making an example. Hahaha...

I'm not sure since when I've fallen in love with music. I guess it's when my mum took me to my very first piano lesson. Yes. It must be the reason. I learned the rhythm, notes, key and most importantly how do sing. Psst.. you might not know this. I'd entered a few singing competitions when I was about 5-7 year old. Having such a sweet-lovely-cute voice... I won nothing but consolation prize.

At least I got something right? Lol.. It's OK. Honestly, I don't have a sweet-lovely-cute voice. Haha.. So it's fair that I didn't win anything... :P

First Day Of Work- Darn Tire!

If you realise my twitter which I've just updated it, you will know that I am absolutely tired. Today is my first day of work, as a sales assistant in a store that sell fashion designer's work-clothes.

Working in a classy store is a bit stress (eustress actually) since I know nothing about fashion. I am such a nerd and I don't have any fashion senses. Sad to say it but it's true. You should know this once you'd read my previous post that I need help in cosmetics! (here) For all this while, T-shirt and jeans have become a part of me with my dull non make-up face.

Since I am working, I should know the type of materials that are used, the name of the colour, the meaning behind a designed garment, the famous artist or people (just know a bit) and about the history of the designer himself/herself. Gosh... I need to do my homework before going back to work tomorrow. I thought working as a sales girl will be easy since "I just sell, and they just buy". However, I was wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong. Anyway, I know I can do it. I will search via the internet for more information.

Oh ya. Do you know how did I look today? I look completely like an panda. Haha.... I drew my eyes too dark. Look totally an alien to me.. Lol...

What I want is to be like in the photo. Natural, big, sparkling eyes! However, it turned up to be like a panda... sigh.... ;(

And gosh! My toes were hurt by my shoe which I think the shoes size do not fit my foot. Too tight for me. As a result, I couldn't walk nor stand right now. Lucky (which I thought) for me that I've immediately got a pair of new, formal shoes.

However, the new shoes are not comfortable neither when I walked back home. Sigh... It's impossible for me to spend another ringgit for another shoes since today is just my first day of work. I don't have any pocket money to buy another new pair of shoes. No no no...

Hopefully, there won't be any trouble occurs with my new pair of shoes or else.... that will be my hardest moment to bare with... when the shoes are too tight. Sigh....

Cry On My Shoulder

I am a kind of girl who are very sensitive to sound. Sometimes, a tiny sound can be detected easily or maybe when someone is playing the wrong notes on the piano. Maybe it's because of I learn music ever since I was a child. However, I couldn't play any nice song on piano. I am too lazy to learn. Haha..

Taking about music, I prefer songs that are sentimental, slow or country style. To be honest, Linkin Park, Gorillaz or any other songs that I consider as 'ears-hurting' is a no-no for me. Oops, sorry to Linkin Park or Gorillaz fans. I am not that rock ok? Sorry... Maybe Avril Lavige's songs are still ok for me especially "Complicated".

Yesterday, Eric had sent me a song, Cry On My Shoulder by Superstar which has melted my heart unconsciously. The way they compose the song and the lyric as well is so touching. I feel like crying while listening to the song. A sudden flashback on my past happened while listening to the song. Those unpleasant moments in the past 15 years was recalled. Looking back on my past, I never know that I've managed to overcome my problems and nearly being forgotten.


I still remember those suffering moments that I've gone through and I thought I will never be able to face it. I felt myself was so weak. The world was so dark and I felt alone. But hey! I did. I've managed to overcome those problems. This is who I am now, a healthy, sporting, lovely, rational Curryegg. Haha..

It's impossible to overcome those hardest moments without the supports from my family and friends. They are the people who have been lending me their shoulders to cry of when I was so down. For all this while, they've been supporting and motivating me and I should say thank you for all of them especially to Eric's shoulders. I've been wetting his shoulders for so long. Lol.. Thank you guys for your lovely shoulders..... *hugs*


Now, I should tell you how greatful I am to own this blog. I can blog whatever I want and get responses and supports from all of you which has brighten up my life. This is why I enjoy blogging so much. Without you guys, I won't blog that often - because I neither have the intrinsic nor extrinsic motivation. Lol... (Applying my psychology).
