Tsunami - Haeundae (해운대)

Seriously, I hate disaster movie. Hate it from the bottom of my heart. One of the reasons is because, it always leave me in such a mess condition. A condition where no one can imagine, not even my mum I suppose.

I cried miserably when I watched this movie, Tsunami - Haeundae (해운대) with Eric just awhile ago in a nearby cinema. Tears just couldn't stop streaming down, wetting both my poor soaking cheeks. The climax is really heart-breaking as it doesn't fail to show how people die in such an unpredictable disaster (well, if it is predictable, it wouldn't be a disaster right? puff..).

And what grab my attention the most is how people willingly sacrify their life for their love ones. What a noble action.

Those touching yet saddening scenes keep on flashing in my mind. How a father and a mother against all odds in order to save their only daughter, how a safeguard scarify his life to save another life, how a couple fight death and so on and so forth. You have only 10 minutes to say what you want to say. Gosh... I can feel my tears trying to escape from my eye balls.

Stop it Kelly.
Stop it!

You're going to sleep soon with lullaby, k?

Long story short, this movie has taught me something very important which is to appreciate life, people and our environment. We will never know when is the end of our lives. What we can do is to love who we are, be thankful with what we have, care for those who we love and appreciate every beauty we see. If one day uncle death is knocking our doors, we wouldn't be worried nor anxious because we have already enjoyed a wonderful life and nothing can take this feeling away.

Thank for creating such a wonderful film. It does aware me about life and death. Not to forget the power of God. Now I wonder, how do the 2004 Tsunami survivors live their lives now?

P/s: Not going to watch any disaster movie, not until I am ready. Hmpm...

Slumdog Millionaire - Love It!

I am glad to spend my entire 2 hours for this wonderful movie, today with my family.

It is just too beautiful. No wonder this film won 8 Oscars, another 71 wins and 26 nominations (link). It has really touched my heart. Serious. I couldn't stop my tears escaping from my eyes. Eeerr....

I love the part when Little Jamal dives into the toilet hole to chase his idol's signature. Lol... It is really hilarious.

Well, I am not going to make any review for this because you just have to watch it. Reading the summary or synopsis wouldn't help you in understanding the life of the people who live in slums.

So, go. Watch it if you haven't!
Trust me!

So In Love With Twilight

Ever since I watched Twilight with Eric, all of the sudden I wish to have a boyfriend who is a vampire. I mean, just for fantasy of course - not real one.

OMG.

Unexpectedly, Twilight has won my heart and I love this movie a lot. Whenever I close my eyes, I will think of the couple - Isabella and Edward Cullen. Oh my. Guess what, both of the actor and actress are really a perfect match. Charming and gorgeous.

Wulala~~

Now, I wonder if there is real Vampire or Dracula on earth?

There are news on discovering real vampire in the Europe countries and I wonder are they real? I remember I came across with a documentary in Discovery Channel a month ago and there are people who drink blood as their energy supply. Their faces are pale and they have the long sharp teeth, just like a Dracula.

Emmmm.....

Whatever it is, I am so in love with this movie!
Bravo!

Are You Ready To Be A Panda?

Uhh?
Am I ready to be a panda?

Oops...
I'd asked the wrong question.
I mean "Are you ready to be a KUNG FU Panda??"
Muahahaha....

I just couldn't stop myself from telling others how nice the movie is. Yes. It's the latest movie (or should we call it as cartoon?) from DreamWorks. I swear, it's as hilarious as Shrek 3!

I went to the cinema for this movie yesterday and all I can say is, the movie is worth for the RM2.70-per-liter-petrol cost!! Sigh.. life is getting tough recently. I jailed myself for nearly a week ever since our Prime Minister announced the new price for electricity and petrol. Geerrrr..... Where's my life? ;(

Ok. Stop that rant and continue with our Kung Fu Panda movie. There are two version of languages you can get- English and Cantonese. I picked the Cantonese version and it's absolutely fantastic!

At the very first moment, I started with a chuckle. Next, I begin to giggle... And without any sign, my eyes were filled with tears before I found myself rolling on the floor. Lol... I just couldn't stop myself from laughing and I guess, I was not alone. I could hear most of the audiences were laughing as loud as mine. Haha... That's great!

One of my favourite part:

Char Siew Pau? (Pork Bun?)

This is how a large-over weight-cute panda being trained... Kung Fu Panda? Serious?

Honestly, I love the story and the way they present it. I should rate the movie for 4.6 over 5 for the effective sound effect, beautiful drawing, creative storyline and you name them. However, the movie is kinda short- One an a half hour? Frankly, I haven't finish my laugh!!! Uuhh... I want more! More!!!

By the way, I didn't notice the Panda's voice is actually from Eason Chan while the monkey is Jacky Chan's voice (Cantonese version)! No wonder they sound familiar. So, do this add another point for you to watch the movie? Yes? No?

Eason Chan (Hong Kong)

18SX and 18PL!!! Again?
Oopss.. Let me pick another picture of him...

Ahh.. this is better..
Jacky Chan (Hong Kong)

There's a message behind this story which I want to share it with you.

There's no any secret of success other than believing in yourself.

Give yourself a couple of seconds to think about this message. Isn't that make sense? It is motivating, isn't it? I heard somebody is asking me for the movie review. Ahh ahh ahh.. I'm not going to tell you the story but don't worry, I can show you the trailer here.. *naughty wink*

English Version (Too bad, there's no trailer in Cantonese)

What should I conclude for this movie? It's damn, hilarious!!!! Oopss... Watch it or you will miss the laugh-out-loud moment. Muahahahaha....

Pay a visit to: Kung Fu Panda website
I just get this cool free widget from this website. You can play games, watch trailers, make your own panda and read your daily fortune cookies! Isn't that great!

Muacks.. I love panda who knows Kung Fu...
Hugs.

Can't Help Falling In Love With YOU

I just couldn't stop myself from dreaming about him...

He's so cute...
He's intelligence...
He's so hot!

OMG!
How can I stop looking at his face?

Gosh!
Am I confessing about my love one in curryegg.com? I know I shouldn't... but I can't stop myself from not blogging about him. Ahww.....

I love him!

Obadiah Stane

Oops
.. not this old, bald man.. It's him...

Tony Stark who built a high tech suit.
Real name: Robert Downey JR.

Yes.. This is him. I love him so much when he wears this...

You're right. He's the Iron Man! Look at the red, gold iron mask. I kinda attracted to it when I watched this on 2 May 2008 (after my Learning Psychology paper). To be frank, I rarely like watching action and aggressive movie. I'm more into girly stuff like Princess Diary, A Cinderella Story, A Bee's Life, Beauty and The Best and etc. But this time, it's exception. I start to love action movie like Spiderman, Transformer, The Guardian and now, Iron Man. They are really great movies and I enjoy the storyline.

Well, this time Iron Man movie has really caught my heart. At first, I thought the movie will be boring since... Iron Man is made by iron which means no big muscles being shone like Batman. Haha... Somehow, Iron man is difference. It's more to Technology, just like Transformer- advance!

Besides, I love the storyline and the way they present the story. One word, creative!

Oh ya. I've forgotten to mention this. Iron Man can fly! Haha...
This is the IronMan website.

Besides Iron Man, I would love to recommend you another great movie, "Forbidden Kingdom". I'd watched it twice. Undeniably, the story is really intriguing. Watch it if you still haven't. Even aunty and uncle like my mum and dad love the movie.

And the interesting part is, my mum has fallen in love with...

Jacky Chan!

And Jet Li...
haha....

I love Kung Fu.. ;)

As for me, I love looking at this girl... (Ok.. I'm not a lesbian ok?)

She's so gorgeous, isn't she?
;)

Uhhh.... I wanna watch again for both Iron Man and Forbidden Kingdom movies in the cinema (not cetak rompak) because of the large screen and the sound effect!!!

P/s: I will watch today if there is no exam tomorrow (5/5/08).
Last paper! Hurroyyy!!!

The Maid = Adverlets

I've finished my drum practise and now I am spending my quality time with my course mates in Choh's room. What are we doing in the middle of the night? You will never guess it. We are watching The Maid movie. Wuoooooo!!!! It's an old movie but I haven't watch it.
Sound scary? Haha... I rarely watch horror movie because... I am scared. Lol...

I scared blood.
I scared ghost.
I scared eerie sound...

I am blogging while watching the movie.. Cool isn't it? I think I am reaching the climax right now. I've to get a person and hug her tightly. Wukaka....

Anyway, I think The Maid is equal to Adverlets.com. Why?
Same horror feeling... scary...

Talking about my horror moment with adverlets, I really don't have any idea about it. I don't know what has happened on adverlets. Is it going to disappear? How about my earning in it? Will I lose them before having the chance to taste the RM50 cheque?

Sigh... I was really being frightened by adverlets.com this afternoon, just like the main actress in this movie when I failed to open my blog. I thought my blog url was being used by other website. Things which I've never expected had frighten me away. When I found out others were facing the same problem as I was, I felt slightly relieve and searching way to heal it.

Ok. Back to my horror movie and will continue blogging tomorrow morning.
Miss you guys... ;)

Updated: I think adverlets is still facing the problem with their domain because the website still appear when I added the ads again. Looks like I can't put any of their ads right now.. :(

The Golden Compass Freaky Competition

Want a stuffed polar bear?
Good question. Of course I want it silly! How can I not wanting it when my mum is 'ordering' me to win her the cute polar bear? I should blame the AllMalaysia Bloggers Project for running the The Golden Compass Contest starting from 13 December 2007 till 23 December 2007 which has indirectly attracted my mum and I. We've made a deal. If I manage to win the first prize in the contest, she will take the bear and I will get:

  • The Golden Compass storybook
  • A deck of cards
  • A lunch cooler
  • A pewter key chain
  • Double movie passes!!!

Click here and here for more information about the competition.

The Golden Compass.

Keep hearing your friends commenting about the Golden Compass movie?
Getting boring or reading too much of The Golden Compass review from other bloggers lately? On your mind, you keep on asking yourself:
"Why are people around the world crazing for The Golden Compass movie? Why? Why?"

Is it because of.....
The exciting fantasy adventure?
Philip Pullman's bestselling and award-winning novel?
Or the gorgeous Nicole Kidman?

Well, this movie is worth to be watched several times in the cinema. It will be great if you can own a VCD or DVD for the movie. (I mean original.. lol..)

I believe most of you've already watched the movie but sorry to say that, I haven't. How will I have the time for cinema when I was still working? I work 6 days a week and the remaining day was spent for my sick grandmother.

My parents and my siblings were 'ranting' me to treat them for The Golden Compass movie using my salary (which is very little) because they've found out the movie is as interesting as Harry Potter and The Lord Of The Ring. How did they know? Well, they have watched the trailer from the Golden Compass official website (here) and have even read the synopsis. If I am not going to treat them, I will be in big trouble... uhhh... Call the police!! My family is threatening me...!

Here is the synopsis which has attracted them:

"From the producer of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Golden Compass is based on Philip Pullman's bestselling and award-winning novel His Dark Materials trilogy. It is an exciting fantasy adventure, set in an alternative world where people's souls manifest themselves as animals, talking bears fight wars, and Gyptians and witches co-exist. At the center of the story is Lyra, a 12 year-old girl who starts out trying to rescue a friend who's been kidnapped by a mysterious organization known as the Gobblers - and winds up on an epic quest to save not only her world, but ours as well."

OMG. I hate Google for allowing them to access those websites for information about the movie so easily. Eeerrr.... I've to spend money for 6 tickets including me in order to watch the fantasy movie in the cinema. It will be..... emm.... let me calculate it:

RM10 X 6 = RM60
RM 7 X 6 = RM42 (On Wednesday before 6pm in GSC which is impossible for us)

So.. that's mean I've to spend RM60? Uuhh?
*$ fly*

Gosh... AMBP, please let me win the prizes so that I can get my 2 tickets for the movie (and not to forget my mum polar bear.. Lolx..)
HELP!!!!
I need them!

Graduation Day.

Graduation day.
Don't get me wrong. It's not me. Haha... It's my cousin. The past few days, I went to my cousin's graduation day which was held in my University- Malaya University. Dad had prepared a bouquet of Carnation for her and we went there at about 11am.

Some stalls
He was the place...
Master holders...
Crowded...
Flowers....
Balloon!!!

It was so crowded with people and it caused me hardly to move. I took about 20 minutes to meet my cousin. In that 20 minutes, I can feel the joy from every people around me. Most of them were the graduate's family and friends.

Everyone was so happy attending the celebration. Some were shouting and some were screaming with joy. Standing in the middle of the crowd, I could see flowers and soft toys every way. I wish I can get a huge, cute bear for my future graduation day... in the future.. haha.... ;D

As soon as I met my cousin, I handed her the flower and hugged. I was really happy for her. She was now a master holder. Then, we took some photos. Oh ya, my aunt took her grandchildren along. They were so cute and do you believe that they were twins? Yup! Do they look similar? Nope. haha....

I love her sunflower... and the wrapping too. Double match!
My aunt and uncle... and twins.. ^^
How sweet.... grandfather and his grandson..

After spending nearly an hour there, my cousin invited us for lunch. We went to 'Wong Kok' restaurant, not far from my University. It took me an an hour to return to my hostel. Haha... a small trip.

I thought I won't involve in any graduation day again until the next morning, I received a call from my mum that there was another cousin's graduation day to be attended in that morning. I was so rush to buy her a flower. I had 2 classes at that morning but I was allowed to went out earlier than the class suppose to.

I walked all the way to the hall with my blue umbrella. It was a hot day. About 15 minutes, I reached the place and gave her my flower for her.. Oops.. I should call it a bear that was wrapped with flower. haha...

I just managed to take some photos with her and her parents since she was so busy with her other friends and relatives. I was lucky to be able to chat with her. haha...

My cousin and her friends.. There were beautiful flower.... ;)
Jun and her sister... Happy to meet them.. ;D
My dad and her dad... Lol... haha....

This graduation day has allowed me to feel the real atmosphere. It allowed me to feel the happiness from everyone that was involved. It's not easy to be a student. We start to struggle ever since we step into the course. I understand the feeling when we've finally finished our course. We say goodbye to assignments, exams and homeworks. Yes! I'm free! Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka!

But...
Em..... I still have to wait for another 4 years...... ;(
