Playing God or Devil’s Advocate: Which one is the lesser of all evils?
This past Friday a patient with a spinal cord injury underwent the world’s first injection of stem cells pulled from human embryos. The event was spurred by the need to cure those that would normally be perceived as incurable through human embryonic stem cell therapy which is now in its clinical trial stage.
In order to determine whether this process is safe for well, humans, ten patients with spinal cord injuries will be dosed with the stem cells and studied over the trial’s two-year time frame.

With stem cell underway, who knows what could be next? The cure for cancer or AIDs? Have YOU helped save the world today?
